Here are some glimpses of events held as a part of World Voice Day celebrations all over India

1) Hyderabad

World Voice Day events organized by Sri Sathya Sai ENT and Melody Voice Clinic ---Inauguration of New Voice, Airway, and Swallowing Center, conducting CME on Voice and Swallowing disorders, and a Free Voice Medical checkup for Professional voice users at Century Hospital, Banjara Hills, Hyderabad on 16th April 2o23.

AOI mumbai branch in association with Dept Of ENT, PD Hinduja hospital conducted a CME on occassion of World Voice day. Main highlights of the event was lecture and a panel discussion moderated by Dr Nupur Kapoor Nerurkar. The event had good interactive discussion with participation of around 120 members.

4) Pune

MIMER MEDICAL COLLEGE TALEGAON PUNE , celebrated World Voice Day by conducting a patient education programme done by Speech and language pathologists. Awareness Lectures were taken by PG Trainee for Doctors and students.

5) Erode

To commemorate the World Voice Day 2023, AOI - Erode Branch in association with Sudha Hospitals,Erode had organized CME and Workshop titled VOICE AND LARYNX-2023 on April 16th 2023 from 10am to 03pm at D Wayfarer Inn, Erode.

Erode AOI President Dr.Chenniappan - AOI President gave Welcome address.

Dr. S Gopalakrishnan,Professor, MGMCRI,Pondicherry, Former Director and HOD,Dept of ENT, JIPMER, Pondicherry graced his Presence as Chief Guest and Inaugurated the CME.

For Hands on Nasopharyngolaryngoscopy, instruments Partners were Olympus, Pentax and Ambu.

About 80 participants attended the CME and Workshopincludes 15Postgraduates.

Vote of Thanks was given by CME Organizing Secretary, Dr. M P Kavin Kumar.

Tamil Nadu Medical Council granted one Credit hours for the CME.

Glimpses of cme “Your voice; your signature “celebrated in Rajagiri Hospital, Kochi, Kerala on behalf of world voice day 2023

8) Nagpur

World Voice Day was celebrated by Department of ENT NKPSIMS, Nagpur in collaboration with AOI Vidarbha. A CME was organised on this occasion. The speakers were Dr Gauri Kapre Vaidya, Neeti clinics, Nagpur; Dr Bhagyashree Bokare, Associate Prof ENT GMC Nagpur; Dr Kiran Kulsange, Assistant Prof ENT NKPSIMS. Dr Kajal Mitra, Dean of NKPSIMS, Dr Vilas Thombre, Vice Dean, Prof Dr Nitin Deosthale, Prof Dr Vivek Harkare, department of ENT; Dr Samir Chaudhari, President AOI Vidarbha, graces the occasion. Dr Sonali Khadakkar conducted an interesting quiz for all attendees. Dr Kanchan Dhote and Dr Disha Methwani conducted the event.

9) Pondicherry

VIN ENT CME 2023

CME on the importance of voice disorders held at Vinayaka Missions Medical College, Karaikal, Pondicherryon 18th April 2023 Organized by the Department of ENT.

The head of the Department Prof Dr . Srinivasa gave a Welcome address and Prof Dr. C Gunasekaran, Hon'ble Dean, presided over the function.

Talks of the day include Glimpses on Voice disorders by Dr. M P Kavin Kumar., laryngologist, Sudha Multispeciality Hospitals, Erode, and Post Thyroidectomy Voice Rehabilitation by Dr. K Vignesh, Assistant Professor, JIPMER, Karaikal.

CME was followed by a Live demonstration of FEES ( Fibre optic endoscopic evaluation of swallowing) by guest speaker Dr. M.P. Kavin Kumar.

The event was attended by 3rd-year medical students and Consultants from various clinical and non-clinical departments with a total attendance of 248

The Program was Organized by Dr. V Srinivasa ( HOD), Prof Dr. A Ganesh Bala, Dr. G Sriram, Dr.Nanditha, Dr.Sandravelu, and Post Graduates.

Tamil Nadu Medical Council has granted 2 credit hours for the CME
